The total would have been $5 that I could have paid withmy Sara Lee $5 cat from last night but my cashier entered the BOGO coupons for the full value of $3.69 so.... I saved a total of 104% and paid $.76 for these items!!

OK, so I am new to all this coupon talk, and don't understand your coupon language. Will you explain what CAT, LW, and some other words mean for me? thank you!

ReplyDeleteA CAT is a Catalina coupon, it's a machine beside the register that spits out coupons and $$ off your next order coupons - so, for example, there is a Sara Lee promo right now where when you buy 5 participating items you get a $5 OYNO (on your next order) cat. So you buy 5 items and when you check out the catalina machine gives you a $5 coupon to use next time. Does that make sense?
LW is the abbreviation I've been using for the current Safeway promo. It's called "Living Well, Feeling Great". The promo is buy $30 of participating items and get a $10 OYNO cat. These $10 cats you can "roll". Meaning you can use one to pay for another $30 order & get another $10 cat. The LW promo ends TODAY. That means this is the last day to get a $10 cat, you don't have to use the $10 cat today though.
